Erling Haaland has been a sensation since making the switch to Manchester City from Borussia Dortmund in the summer transfer window.
This has been epitomised by the fact that the Norwegian has already scored 10 league goals before the September international break has gotten underway. It is also his goal-scoring exploits that helped him win Premier League’s player of the month for August.
Despite his threat in front of goal, Aaron Ramsdale has claimed he is not fazed by the inevitable goal scorer. The Arsenal goalkeeper has even gone on to welcome the challenge.

Ramsdale appeared as a guest on A League of Their Own on Sky and was asked how he was feeling at the prospect of playing against Haaland.
“A little bit, but no as well,” he said, with a smile on his face.
“Yeah I like playing against the best players but I just don’t want him to score too many!”
Sky Sports pundits Jamie Redknapp and Micah Richards were also on the show and Redknapp joked: “He was saying earlier: ‘he won’t score past me!'”
Ramsdale has enjoyed a strong start to the new season, as the Englishman has been pivotal in Arsenal’s excellent campaign so far as the north London side currently sit at the top of the Premier League table.
The first battle between Ramsdale and Haaland was scheduled for October 19 in the Premier League, however, this was postponed as Arsenal had to rearrange their Europa League tie with PSV Eindhoven following the passing of Queen Elizabeth II.
Fans will have to wait to see when the battle between the pair will take place as a rescheduling date has still yet to be announced. But, Ramsdale’s admission about Manchester City’s goal-scoring machine adds more intrigue to the matchup.
