Manchester United fans have praised goalkeeper David de Gea after his brutally honest post-match interview following the defeat to Everton.
United travelled to Goodison Park looking to reignite their hopes of qualifying for next season's Champions League, but they left empty-handed after Anthony Gordon's first-half strike. United's dismal display compounded yet another miserable afternoon. After the loss, the Spaniard was on media duties, and he labelled the defeat 'disgraceful'.
"We don't score, we don't create, that's the problem," he said. "We don't create proper chances to score. I don't know what to say, we are not good enough, that's for sure. It's going to be difficult to get into top four." United fans were quick to laud the shot-stopper for his honesty as they reacted on Twitter.
