Tottenham crumbled under the pressure in one of their biggest Premier League games of the season, with some supporters now calling for the same action to be taken. Spurs travelled north to Newcastle knowing a win was vitally important to their hopes of qualifying for next season's Champions League, but after 21 minutes the game was out of sight and Spurs had been humbled.
As Alexander Isak crashed in goal number five and the Spurs players watched on helplessly, it was abundantly clear that the hopes of a successful end to the campaign were diminishing quickly. Surprisingly, given their first half collapse, Tottenham only conceded one more goal with Harry Kane also scoring a consolation goal.
Nonetheless, supporters have called for significant change to arrive in the summer, and it undoubtedly will. Firstly, a new manager must be brought in to replace Antonio Conte permanently, after his assistant Cristian Stellini was handed the job on an interim basis until the end of the season.

That outcome occurring is guaranteed, however chairman Daniel Levy departing the club is not. It was a spineless display on the pitch from Spurs, with no sign of any fight or desire, but supporters believe all those problems arrive at the feet of one man who many don't want at the club for a second longer. Here's what a number of Spurs fans said on Twitter following the 6-1 defeat.
@TheSpursWatch: "This goes far beyond anything a manager can fix. The club is rotten to the core. The common denominator in all of this is Daniel Levy. He has to resign."
@s1ncz: "If Daniel levy doesn’t resign with immediate effect I cannot support this club anymore."
@ShaunnahBlaney: "Daniel Levy it’s time to resign. Your time is up well it was up a long time ago but now you need to leave."
@dwoodley1990L: "This should be the day all those who have stayed loyal to Daniel Levy finally wake up to the reality that he is a major part of the problem and needs to resign."
@PickettsburghKP: "Levy needs to go."
@Moneymeji: "If Conte was sacked, and his assistant is the replacement. What should we actually expect? Daniel Levy, please turn the lights out and leave your ID with security on your way out. Take a back seat with Joe, and hire competent people to conduct your role."
