Hazing victim tied up and force-fed magic mushrooms as sick video identifies culprits

One of the suspects allegedly behind the brutal hazing that left a teenage student in hospital has been identified through a video circulated online.

Trenton (Trent) Lehrkamp, 19, was left fighting for his life after being allegedly force fed a dangerous amount of alcohol along with other substances including magic mushrooms.

The teenager was dropped off at a local emergency centre in Georgia, US, on March 21, barely breathing, extremely drunk and covered in spray paint.

Police later said his clothes "were soaked with urine" when he arrived at the ER and his blood alcohol level was nearly six times the legal limit.

Four teens were identified and accused of torturing Lehrkamp at an off-campus frat party about 83 miles south of Savannah.

Pictures and video were circulated online showing a group of boys standing around a seemingly unconscious Lehrkamp covered in paint.

Another video showed the unconscious boy being sprayed with a hose.

The footage led police to identify the suspects involved.

A post shared by the Glynn County Citizens on Patrol claims that the four teens "bound an unconscious and unresponsive boy to a chair, spray painted him from head to toe."

A GoFundMe page for Lehrhamp showed the teen in a hospital bed hooked up to a ventilator.

A friend of the teen told WSAZ that the 19-year-old had been hanging out with a group of high schoolers who "are not his friends."

The victim's father, Mark Lehrkamp, had told police his son had been to the same house a few days before and came home covered in "WD-40, vomit, paint, glue, egg yolk and spray paint," court documents said.

He told officers: "He never returns home normal."

The police report readI: "Mark stated that Trenton seemed high or drunk and two weeks prior Mark had to take Trenton to the emergency room because he came home with a severe laceration above his left eye that required stitches."

In January, a US student was found dead in his dorm after being hazed by a frat group, friends have claimed.

Luke Morgan Tyler was found unresponsive in his room at Washington State University.

Friends of the 19-year-old have now called for an investigation into his death, claiming the freshman had been a victim of cruel and "inhumane" hazing as part of the Theta Chi fraternity.

Hazing refers to groups forcing people into doing degrading or even dangerous acts, often as an initiation to joining them.

Washington police have declared no foul play is suspected in Luke's death, the cause of which they have not yet revealed.

But a petition has been set up, demanding authorities take a closer look into the fraternity and allegations Luke was a victim of hazing just before his death.
