Hayley Tamaddon is pregnant with first baby at 42 after being told she would never be able to conceive.
The Emmerdale star announced the news on her social media accounts along with a sweet photo of her showing off her growing belly.
Hayley, who also played Andrea Beckett in Coronation Street and starred in Dancing On Ice, can be seen in the photo grinning from ear to ear and wearing a peach coloured dress while holding her stomach protectively.
She told her followers: "EXCITING NEWS TWEET!! I'm so pleased to tell you all... I’m expecting my first child with my wonderful boyfriend Adrian!!"

"I've always wanted to be a mum and didn't think I could have children. And now, at the ripe old age of 42 - I'M PREGNANT! We couldn't be happier."
She also added the image to her Instagram story with the caption 'baby on board.'

Hayley met her partner Adrian two years ago but she has kept her personal life private following several high-profile relationships.
The actress has previously been linked with former Hollyoaks star Joe Tracini and comedian Marcus Bridgstocke.

In 2013 the Daily Star reported that Marcus left his wife of 12 years to be with Hayley, but the couple allegedly parted ways after three years.
During her relationship with Marcus, Hayley told the Mirror that she wanted children in the future.
"I'm a very happy girl at the moment. I'm doing everything that I love to do. My family are very proud of me," she said at the time.
"My body feels 37 but I still feel 21. I sometimes forget that I'm going to be 40. It would be lovely to have kids in the future but for now my main concentration is my work."

She continued: "I'm not scared of nappies or screaming babies but I'm just not at that point.
"Not many of my friends have settled down either. I'm a workaholic. It's always work, work, work, I can't switch it off."
The Dancing On Ice winner was also engaged to dancer Darren Charles, but called off their wedding in 2010 when she discovered that he had cheated on her during filming for the ITV2 reality show.
