Hawk-eye has been branded "a total disaster" and "useless" after failing to work during the All-Ireland quarter-final clash between Monaghan and Armagh.
Having battled hard over the past few weeks and months to make it to the last eight of the Championship, the teams involved would surely expect the technology to work.
However, when called upon in the second half of extra-time to check a potential Monaghan point, hawk-eye displayed the message "data available".

Fans took to social media to vent their fury with the technology malfunctioning.
One wrote: "It simply is not good enough that in the second period of extra time of an all ireland quarter final in a draw game we get from Hawkeye 'data not available'."
Another commented: "Total disaster here in @CrokePark#HawkEye unavailable to adjudicate on potential @monaghangaa point."
Someone else said: "Diagrace. Hawkeye simply has to operate at 100% for such inportant games in HQ at this stage of the championship."
