After Saturday's 4-0 loss to Tottenham Hotspur, Leeds United fell to within three points of Burnley in 18th place, with the Lancashire side holding three games in hand over the Whites.
Leeds have picked up only one point in their last six games and have conceded three goals or more in their last four, culminating in 14 goals conceded in six days across the Manchester United, Liverpool and Tottenham defeats.
In fact, Leeds are now the team with the worst defensive record in the division, as they have already conceded 60 goals this season. This is six more than last season, where they conceded 54, having played 12 more games than the Whites have played this season. On current rate, Leeds are set to concede the most goals since Derby County when they broke the Premier League record for lowest points tally in 2007/08.
This has led to real fears over Leeds' ability to stay in the top division and stories have broken suggesting that Marcelo Bielsa is on the brink of being sacked, with Jesse Marsch lined up to replace the Argentine. Marsch was mooted to take over in the Summer, but it appears the club may look at shifting that timeline forward in a bid to try and save themselves from things getting any worse.
With Leeds taking a big step backwards in their second season in the Premier League, our survey below asks the important questions:
Why has it gone so badly wrong this season? Do you believe that Bielsa is to blame, or is the players or the board?
Most importantly, do you believe the Whites will stay up?
