Underwater video shows what lives beneath the Albert Dock

If you have ever wondered what's underneath the Royal Albert Dock - you're about to find out.

This magical footage shows an amazing world beneath the docks, teeming with unexpected life.

Captured by Stand Up Paddleboarding (SUP) Liverpool, thousands of giant jellyfish can be seen sweeping through the water in the video.

But miraculously, when you come to the surface, you can't see any sign of life.

The footage, which has been watched over 4000 times, amazed viewers.

The docks are well-known for moon jellyfish, the UK’s most common species, which float with the movement of the water.

According to the Wildlife Trust, they are around the size of a plate and are recognisable by the four circles visible through the translucent white bell.

However, there is no need to worry as moon jellyfish don't sting humans.
