Residents in Liverpool City Centre are attempting to work out who is behind a mysterious piece of street art which appeared overnight.
A brick wall on the corner of Jamaica Street in the Baltic Triangle now features the outline of a young person sitting on the floor with their legs crossed. Their outline is coloured in black and white with the figure appearing to hold flowers, with a petal blown away to the side.
The Baltic Triangle has become a hotspot for street art with a number of large and small scale works found across the area. Large murals have also been added in recent years.

The small artwork has however sparked excitement over who is behind the creation. Residents in the Baltic Triangle have reached out to the ECHO to ask if the work is an official Banksy.
The world renown street artist, who has never revealed their identity, has previously visited the city to create a number of notable works. One of the most memorable was the artist’s giant rat that covered the walls of a building on Berry Street.
The style of the new work in the Baltic Triangle has left some residents to ponder whether the artist has travelled to Merseyside to complete another piece. However pictures show what appears to be the words ‘Disney’ tagged next to the outline of the figure.
The work can be seen next to an information sign and map for the Baltic Triangle. The wall faces out on to a roundabout which connects Jamaica Street with Park Lane.
