Schools upto class 5 closed till Nov 22 in Nuh

Nuh: Keeping in view, the worsening air pollution, the Nuh Administration has declared holidays for schools up to Class 5 from November 18 to November 22, according to an official order.

The holidays have been declared in all government, semi-government, and private schools in the Nuh district of Haryana.

The administration has directed all Block Education Officers to strictly implement the orders in their respective blocks.

Administration order

The order reads, "In compliance with the letter no. 1/5-2019 (ACD 12) dated 16-11-2024 of Director General, Elementary Education Haryana, Panchkula and telephone message dated 17-11-2024 received from Deputy Commissioner's Office, Nuh. In view of the high air pollution in District Nuh, the holiday is declared from 18-11-2024 to 22-11-2024 in all government / semi-government / private schools up to class V (class 1 to 5). All Block Education Officers, District Nuh are instructed to ensure that all government / semi-government / private schools up to class V do not remain open during the holiday. These holidays will be valid only for students. The above orders should be strictly followed."

Online classes in Delhi

In Delhi also, in view of the pollution, the government has ordered online classes for all students except those in class 10 and class 12. Heads of schools have also been directed to ensure classes in online mode for the students of these classes till further orders. Physical classes for students of class 10 and class 12 will continue as usual. (with Agency inputs)
