Harry Styles stunned in polka dot tights, knitted green dresses and kitten heels as he posed for the cover of Dazed magazine.
But despite being the first US Vogue male cover star to ever wear a dress, the 27-year-old singer insists he "doesn't see himself as a style icon".
The striking photoshoot comes as the singer launched his new beauty brand, Pleasing, which he was inspired to create during the pandemic.
The Watermelon Sugar hitmaker told the mag: "It's starting with nail polish, because that was kind of the birth of what it was for.
"Me seeing a colour on a flower or a wallpaper or something and thinking, 'Oh, I wanna put that on my nails.' It was a fun little project, but during the pandemic, and when we eventually named it Pleasing, it felt like it was so much more than nail polish.
"I've always found that the moments in my life which have brought me the most joy are the small ones, whether it be, you know, the end of the night under the stars or a bite of food, or sitting with your friends thinking, 'Oh, I'm never gonna forget this'."
The star posed in a 14th century inspired cream corset over the top of a textured knitted jumper for one snap and a lace black dress with matching head covering and black lace gloves.
"It's funny because I don't think of myself that way [as a style icon]... but bringing people together is the thing I'm most proud of," he said.
Harry, who teamed his dramatic looks with Swarovski jewels for the shoot spoke about his beauty products: "I don't think being beautiful or feeling beautiful is about looking good.
"When people are happy and glowing, they're radiating. And that's what I think the products do, it's about helping you feel beautiful."
The Brit Award winner said that it was the little things in life that "have the longest-lasting effect", which he said was the 'essence' of the brand.
He is due to star as a gay police officer in upcoming film My Policeman, where he has a secret relationship with a man while married to a woman.
Harry said he likes to "challenge himself" and do something different, adding that when it comes to movies, he's the new guy.
Discussing where his creativity comes from, Harry added: "I have unlocked an ability to be myself completely, unapologetically."
