Harry Styles has been announced as the latest A-lister set to read for CBeebies Bedtime Stories.

The singer, 28, will put on his best pyjamas to read In Every House, on Every Street, which is written by Jess Hitchman and illustrated by Lili la Baleine.

The tale is described as a “heartwarming celebration of homes and the different families that live in them”.

Styles will introduce his episode by saying: “Tonight’s bedtime story is about a house full of love and laughter.”

It is due to air on CBeebies at 6.50pm on May 23 and will later be made available to stream on-demand via BBC iPlayer.

The former One Direction star is not the first big name to appear on CBeebies Bedtime Stories–he joins the likes of the Duchess of Cambridge, Elton John, Dolly Parton and Tom Hardy to name a few.

Former Strictly champ and EastEnders star Rose Ayling-Ellis recently became the first ever person to read their story in British Sign Language.

Elsewhere, Styles is currently gearing up for the release of his third solo studio album, Harry’s House, on May 20.

In celebration of the release, he will play a one-off London show at the O2 Academy in Brixton on May 24.

The Worcestershire-born star – who is currently dating US actress and filmmaker Olivia Wilde – will return to the UK for his Love on Tour stadium shows in June.
