Harry Styles serenades Glasgow fan with 'Happy Birthday' during Ibrox gig

Harry Styles made one fan's day when he sang Happy Birthday to her in Glasgow last night.

The star urged the crowd to join in the serenade, telling them: "Are you ready on three - 1, 2, 3", before pretty much the entire audience burst into song.

And as the beaming birthday girl in the front row appeared briefly on the big screen, he told her: "I hope you have a good time".

Doubtless the 28-year-old's gesture made the girl, named Chloe, the envy of thousands of the 50,000 fans who packed into Ibrox stadium for the 'Harry Styles: Love On Tour' show.

The special moment followed criticism from some fans complaining about "shambolic" queues outside the event earlier in the day.

Twitter was awash with concertgoers frustrated at management, with people waiting for hours to get into the venue.

Fan Lucy Brown posted: "Absolute shambles Ibrox for Harry Styles- stewards outside the station have no idea, police are arguing with the stewards, I’ve never seen queues like this in my life."

She later told Glasgow Live: "We’ve asked five stewards where to go to our gate for entry and they didn’t know anything about them. Finally told a police officer who told us we were actually in the wrong queue.

"Once the police came the organisation definitely improved but the first 30 mins was hell."

And mum Annmarie Cairney revealed her daughter queued for nearly two hours to access her seat inside the stadium.

She added: "It's a shambles at Ibrox for Harry Styles. My daughter been in the queue for hour and a half and nowhere near getting in.

"She’s 20, so she’s fine, but it’s been nearly two hours now and word is that there is no room in standing area for them all to get in."
