After two cancelled tours — and, you’d suspect, plenty of broken hearts — Harry Styles has finally confirmed his plans to return to London as part of a long-awaited run of concerts.
The former One Direction man will play a string of stadium gigs in the UK and Europe, before continuing his journey down to Central and South America, with both rescheduled dates and newly announced shows in the offing.
Whether you had tickets for the original gigs and have been patiently waiting all this time, or you’re desperate to nab yourself a spot to one of the new dates, here’s all you need to know.
What are the new UK dates?
Three new stadium gigs have been confirmed:
- June 11 — Ibrox Stadium, Glasgow
- June 15 — Emirates Old Trafford, Manchester
- June 18 — Wembley Stadium, London
What’s going on with tickets?
Styles was initially set to play arena shows at London’s The O2, Manchester’s AO Arena and Glasgow’s OVO Hydro. However, he will no longer be coming to any of those venues, with the shows upgraded to the stadiums listed above.
Any fans who had tickets for those original arena gigs will be refunded and “receive an exclusive access presale to ensure priority access to the new performance”, organisers confirmed, rather than having their tickets automatically transferred to the new concerts. Ticket-holders will be contacted by whichever ticketing agent they initially bought from.
I didn’t have tickets for the original shows — can I go to the new ones?
If you’re quick, yes. The new batch of tickets will go on sale at 9am on Friday January 28, at livenation.co.uk. Prices, however, are yet to be confirmed.
Who’s supporting Harry Styles on tour?
US artist Mitski, who’s set to release her keenly anticipated new album Laurel Hell on February 4, will be opening up for Styles on his UK dates. Arlo Parks will join him in Dublin, Wolf Alice have been enlisted for select European dates, and Koffee will accompany him to Latin America.
What are Harry Styles’s full 2022 tour dates?
