While the female embodiment of lockdown soon became cutting your own bangs, it would seem that for men, it's been growing a moustache.
Justin Bieber debuted his first moustache after a few days of LA going into lockdown and now it's the turn of Mancunian crooner, Harry Styles.
In a series of images posted to Instagram stories, Styles can be seen posing at Massimo Bottura’s three-Michelin-starred Osteria Francescana in Modena. Ever the man with good taste, the eaterie is frequently named the best restaurant in the world.
He paired his Almost Famous-worthy 'tache with a striped Gucci tee (£557, buy now), classic blue jeans, and some seventies aviators, completing the outfits' nod to the era.
While Styles is usually the trailblazer (see: inspiring an entire generation to knit), it would appear that he wasn't the first to bring his top lip to life.
Timothée Chalamet set tongues wagging in January, as he debuted a remarkably thin-on-the-ground sprout of facial hair during an appearance at the National Board Of Review Gala, while style disruptor Lil Nas X has become as synonymous for his mini moustache as he has for his outlandish garb.
Musician The Weeknd also graduated his signature beard to a moustache for an appearance in December at the premiere of the movie, Uncut Gems.
