Harry Styles at Ibrox: Everything you need to know ahead of this weekend's gig

Harry Styles is set to perform in Glasgow this weekend, and fans cannot contain their excitement.

This Saturday, the Watermelon Sugar singer will take to the stage at the city's Ibrox Stadium with fans from all over the country eager to get a taste of the 28-year-old's newest music.

Being one of the most successful solo artists emerging from boy band One Direction, Harry Styles has topped the charts, toured the world, and sold millions of albums before going solo back in 2016.

The star then went on to gain himself a reputation with his rich music and quirky sense of style.

Just last week his brand new album, 'Harry’s House' was released and was the official follow up to the 2019 album 'Fine Lines' which debuted at number three on the UK Albums Chart and number one on the Billboard 200.

Harry's House is his third album as a solo act, after a three-year break from releasing music and the upcoming concert will mark the singer's first solo show in Scotland in four years.

As Harry’s return is only a few days away, so here is some key information ahead of the show…

Age restrictions

No one under 14 is permitted on the pitch standing area, no one under 5 is permitted in the seats and all persons aged 5-15 years old must always be accompanied by an adult 18 or over with at least 1 adult per 4 people aged between 5-15.

Fans who are attending with someone under 16 years old are encouraged to get a guardianship wristband which will be available from the welfare tent onsite.

A challenge 25 policy will be in operation at the bars, ensuring access is restricted to persons 18 and over. If you’re lucky enough to look under 25, you may be asked for proof of age at the gates, so please bring an acceptable valid photographic ID.

This also applies to guardians, where a challenge 25 policy will be in operation at the gates ensuring guardians are 18 and over.

What can you bring?

Please don’t bring a bag unless it is absolutely essential. We know that sometimes you need to carry certain items at all times but remember - bags larger than A4 paper size will not be permitted at the show.

Please consider this in your planning as you may be subject to longer queues and searching when entering the site.

Please look after yourself and those around you. If you require any assistance throughout the show, please speak to the nearest member of Security who can assist you. Take it easy and don’t end up intoxicated – Security is obliged to refuse admission if you have had too much to drink so don’t spoil your night and risk missing the show.

Remember, this is an open-air show in Scotland, and we all know that the Scottish weather is full of surprises - so be prepared for all weather. We would suggest keeping an eye on the forecast and be prepared for a change in the weather as the evening goes on. Umbrellas are not permitted – so maybe bring a hooded jacket, just in case.
