Harry Styles and Olivia Wilde passionately snog as Don't Worry Darling gets mixed reviews

Harry Styles and Olivia Wilde were seen snogging as their film Don't Worry Darling received mixed reviews.

The much-hyped flick is in cinemas now and stars the pair alongside actress British Florence Pugh, 26.

Olivia, 38, and Harry, 28, who are said to have begun a romance during the film's production, were celebrating the thriller's release in New York.

The One Direction star, who has just finished his 15-night concert at Madison Square Garden, cut a casual figure in a cream jacket, jeans and trainers.

Meanwhile, Olivia sported a black blazer and jeans with her hair piled into a bun.

The pair can be seen with their arms around each other before sharing a steamy kiss after leaving a Mexican restaurant.

The pics come amid a mixed reception for Don't Worry Darling, which was directed by Olivia.

The film is set in a seemingly perfect, 1950s-style community called Victory and tells the tale of Alice, played by Florence, who is married to Harry's Jack.

While the couple have an apparently blissful relationship, Victory hides a dark secret - which Alice begins to uncover.

Oscar-nominated Florence has been praised for her performance with critics adding that the film's visuals are superb.

However, the plot has been criticised and opinions on Harry Styles' performance vary.

Of course there was a load of drama going on behind the scenes of the film - according to reports.

For weeks, there have been rumours surrounding the thriller - with allegations that Olivia fired original star Shia LaBeouf, 36, and replaced him with Harry.

Shia claimed he quit the project - while footage leaked by Olivia later appeared to expose a rift between her and Florence.

Now reports have suggested Olivia and Florence clashed on the set of the thriller.

According to Vulture, a source who worked on the film claimed the women had a “blowout argument” in January last year when the project was only a third of the way through filming.

The argument was said to have followed Florence's frustration over Olivia’s “frequent, unexplained absences” on set.

The source went on to say: “Olivia and Harry would just disappear” - hinting that the romance between Olivia and Harry which began during production could have been a source of frustration.

However, cinematographer Matthew Libatique previously told The Hollywood Reporter: “When I hear that there are rumors of acrimony on the set — I reject it. It wasn’t apparent at all, to be honest.

“From my standpoint, the stories are completely untrue when it comes to being on set. I can’t speak to post-production at all.”
