Harry Styles and Florence Pugh are said to have 'kissed' on the set of Don't Worry Darling, just weeks before the pop star started a romance with the film's director Olivia Wilde.
Florence, 26, and Harry, 28, reportedly developed chemistry "from the off" and had "a bit of fun" while they were both single. Harry then started spending more time with 38-year-old Olivia, with the pair eventually dating.
"Harry and Florence had chemistry from the off, which translated incredibly well on-screen. One night they had a bit of a snog, all very light-hearted and a bit of fun, and that was that.
"It was being gossiped about by a couple of members of production, otherwise no one would have known.
"Harry was very much single at the time and Florence had separated from Zach Braff, although she’d kept the split quiet to — ironically — avoid headlines. There was no cheating or misbehaviour from anyone," a source told The Sun.
The insider claimed Harry and Olivia later started "hanging out" in their trailers and sharing "small, routine intimacies". They said it was clear the two had a strong connection.
Similar claims have been made by Olivia and Jason Sudeikis' former nanny, with the exes denying the "false and scurrilous accusations".
Speaking to The Mirror, in a combined statement, Jason and Olivia said: "As parents, it is incredibly upsetting to learn that a former nanny of our two young children would choose to make such false and scurrilous accusations about us publicly.
"Her now 18-month long campaign of harassing us, as well as loved ones, close friends and colleagues, has reached its unfortunate apex.
"We will continue to focus on raising and protecting our children with the sincere hope that she will now choose to leave our family alone."
The Mirror has approached Olivia and Florence's representatives for comment about the new claims. Harry's representative declined to comment.
Jason and Olivia share son Otis, eight, and daughter Daisy, six. The pair got engaged in 2013 and their break-up was announced in November 2020.
Rumours of Olivia's romance with chart-topping singer Harry first started circulating in January 2021 after they were seen holding hands at Jeff Azoff’s wedding in California.
"Our relationship was over long before I met Harry," Olivia previously told Vanity Fair, making reference to her break-up with Jason.
She added: "Like any relationship that ends, it doesn’t end overnight."
