Relations between Prince Harry and his estranged brother Prince William are still at "rock bottom" ahead of the Coronation of their father King Charles.
Both princes will be at Westminster Abbey on May 6 to see their dad crowned after Harry confirmed his attendance.
It will see him and William together in a public setting for the first time since he lambasted the royals in his memoir, Spare.
In the book, the Prince of Wales came in for some of the fiercest criticism from his brother, who went into claimed they once had a physical altercation after a heated row.
But despite them both set to be at the historic event, the Mirror's royal editor Russell Myers says he doesn't envisage any sort of reconciliation between the brothers.
Speaking to True Royalty TV's The Royal Beat, he said: "William and Harry are still pretty much at rock bottom. I don't think anything has changed there.
"I don't think the Prince of Wales will have time or the inclination to speak to his brother.
"He feels immensely hurt by the barbs that were in Harry’s book and the way that he [Harry] has carried on speaking, knowing it will hurt the family.
"The issue is Harry has earned an incredible amount of money off the back of these attacks. Whether William has cause to speak to him - I very much doubt."
It comes after it emerged that Harry will come to the UK on a flying visit for the Coronation - but wife Meghan Markle will stay in California with Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet.
This means he will skip the King’s Coronation concert on May 7 to fly back home after the Coronation ceremony at Westminster Abbey is over.
Now planners will not need to reserve a seat for Harry at the musical extravaganza featuring All Night Long singer Lionel Richie, Take That and Katy Perry.
Instead of attending the gig at Windsor Castle, he will rush to be with his family in California and belatedly celebrate his son Archie’s fourth birthday, sources revealed.
A major factor in Prince Harry's early exit from King Charles' Coronation celebrations is an ongoing legal row.
It is believed the loss of his round-the-clock protection from armed police has been key in his decision to head back to the United States once he has seen his father crowned.
Harry is involved in an ongoing High Court action with the Home Office over a decision to strip him of his UK security following his exit from The Firm in 2020.
In a publicity blitz to promote his bombshell memoir in January, Harry appealed for reconciliation with his family saying "the ball is in their court".
But royal sources said despite the King being cordial with his youngest son ahead of his visit, other family members are certain to be "less forgiving".
A royal source revealed: "After much back and forth, Harry said that he would be returning for the King’s Coronation but it will only be a fleeting visit.
"Organisers have been told Harry won’t be attending the concert with the rest of the Royal Family, which is a great shame as it will be such a spectacular event."
