Former West Ham United manager and player Harry Redknapp believes winger Jarrod Bowen will go on a scoring run after his crucial goals against Everton on Saturday.
After going 99 days without finding the target, two close-range finishes in seven minutes from Bowen at the London Stadium sealed a 2-0 victory for David Moyes’ side, moving them up to 16th in the Premier League standings and out of the relegation zone by a point.
That first half brace, Bowen’s 14th in his career, took his league goals tally from two to four and up to seven for the campaign in all competitions, making him the club’s joint-top scorer this season on all fronts alongside striker Gianluca Scamacca (both on seven).

After his match-winning goals against the Toffees, Redknapp, who made 149 league appearances for the club between 1965 and 1972 and managed West Ham between 1994 and 2001, named Bowen in his Premier League Team of the Week.
“I’m a big fan of Bowen, that was a brilliant performance from him at the weekend,” Redknapp told BetVictor. “That was a huge game for West Ham, and he delivered for his side. He’s had a quieter season this year, but I think he’ll kick on now in the next few weeks.”
Last season, Bowen was one of three Premier League players to reach double figures for both goals and assists. However, this term, he currently has just four goals and is yet to register an assist in 20 starts.
Harry Redknapp’s Premier League Team of the Week in full: Nick Pope (Newcastle United); Rico Lewis (Manchester City), Thiago Silva (Chelsea), Chris Richards (Crystal Palace), Max Wober (Leeds United); Douglas Luiz (Aston Villa), Kaoru Mitoma (Brighton and Hove Albion); Jarrod Bowen (West Ham United), Marcus Rashford (Manchester United), Erling Haaland (Manchester City), Eddie Nketiah (Arsenal)
