Harry Redknapp delivers 'best in the league' verdict as Wilfried Zaha makes Team of the Week

Wilfried Zaha has been named in Harry Redknapp's Team of the Week following his brace against Aston Villa on Saturday.

Zaha took his season tally to three goals in three games, as Crystal Palace downed Steven Gerrard's side to pick up their first win of the season.

The Ivory Coast international was a danger throughout and pulled his side level after Ollie Watkins gave the visitors the lead after just five minutes.

Zaha missed a penalty in the second half but scored the rebound to put the Eagles ahead before Jean-Philippe Mateta secured the victory.

Naming his team for the third gameweek, ex-Tottenham Hotspur boss Redknapp made space for Zaha

Speaking to BetVictor, Redknapp said on his decision: "He’s had an excellent start to the season, hasn’t he? A goal at Anfield last week and a double against Villa on Saturday. He’s big, strong and when he’s on top form, he’s up there with the very best in the league."

Zaha scored 14 goals last season, his best output for the club in his career, and added a further assist across 33 Premier League games.
