A steam train bearing a striking resemblance to the famous Harry Potter locomotive is set to pass through Glasgow on Tuesday (April 19).
While not the official Harry Potter train, which is known as The Jacobite and doubled as the train in the film series, the train will still offer a slice of magic and nostalgia.
The rare sight will undoubtedly bring out keen trainspotters in the city hoping to catch a glimpse of the locomotive, which will also go over the iconic Glenfinnan Viaduct.

Departing from North Blyth at 6.25am, the train will reach its final destination of Fort William at 8.45pm.
Its journey will pass through Shotts at 11.24am and Coatbridge at 1.24pm. It will then makes its way through the city with stops including Springburn at 1.40pm and Maryhill at 2.08pm before heading onwards to Dumbarton and Helensburgh as it continues its journey up to the Highlands.
