Actor Tom Felton has shared a picture celebrating reaching 100 shows of 2:22 A Ghost Story with his fellow cast members. The 34-year-old Harry Potter star took to Instagram to share how he has “loved every minute” of performing in the West End production.
Tom, who played Draco Malfoy in the Wizarding World film series, made his debut in the West End taking on the role of Sam in 2:22 A Ghost Story earlier this year. The supernatural thriller has been written by Danny Robins and directed by Matthew Dunster and follows Jenny, played by Doctor Who star Mandip Gill, who believes her new home is haunted, while her husband Sam doesn't.
The pair both featured in the image shared on Tom's Instagram in the early hours of Friday morning alongside fellow co-stars Sophia Hannides, Nigel Allen, Sam Swainsbury and Beatriz Romilly. The group were wearing party hats and holding on to three balloons reading out 100.
In the caption, Tom said he was "proud" to be part of the production and it was a "privilege" to share the stage with his co-workers. The caption read: “We clocked our 100th show this week…and the 1 year anniversary of @222aghoststory opening in London.
"I am so proud to be a part of this production, I’m even prouder of all the company back stage & front of house that make every night happen. Best of all, I get the privilege to share the stage with these lovely fellows every single night – I’ve loved every minute.”
The actor previously revealed his Harry Potter co-star Matthew Lewis told him to “embrace the madness” after he went to him and Daniel Radcliffe for advice ahead of his West End debut. The production is currently on at the Criterion Theatre in London.
