Netflix's Harry & Meghan has released its first three episodes but viewers expecting "explosive" Royal Family drama have been left sorely disappointed. The series, which entered development in 2020, explores the couple's decision to leave their royal duties and features interviews with Prince Harry & Meghan Markle, journalists, family, friends and historians.
Whilst the second volume of the series has yet to be released, critics have shared their thoughts on the episodes that are currently available. One person who seemed particularly opinionated (despite having to remain impartial) was the BBC's royal correspondent Nicholas Witchell. You can read more about what he had to say here.
But how have viewers responded to the series so far? Here's what they have had to say. You can get more TV news and other story updates straight to your inbox by subscribing to our newsletters here.

"@netflix Harry and Meghan boring - whinging and whining. Criticising Britain - stopped subscribing to Netflix," wrote one viewer before adding: "They are entitled to their opinions but don't forget people have the right to reply and they might not like the replies!" A second expressed similar thoughts and said: "I watch the Netflix movie on Harry Meghan and it was terrible and very boring. I fail to see how a rich people can be victims."
A third person commented: "Am i the only one who found Harry and Meghan Netflix documentary just boring? neither inflammatory nor interesting…just plain dull…" And it seems that they are certainly not, as a fourth added: "I was surprised at just how boring the Harry and Megan series was. I was expecting it to be a lot more interesting. To be honest it was really just a whole series about Meghan and her beefs, so boring."
Not everyone disliked the series though. One person wrote: "I thoroughly enjoyed the documentary and hate that people attack Harry and Meghan." And a second added: "Really enjoyed Harry and Meghan on Netflix. Quite simply, a love story. You can’t blame them from wanting to get away from the press that hounded them. Only thing I didn’t like was Meghan’s ignorance of all things Royal and her mocking the Queen with her over-exaggerated curtsy."
Volume Two of Harry & Meghan releases next week on Thursday, December 15. The first volume is available to watch now on Netflix.
