Manchester United captain Harry Maguire has set out his aims for the remainder of the season.
United currently sit fourth in the Premier League table, a point ahead of West Ham who they have a game in hand over and two points ahead of Arsenal, who have played a game fewer, and Tottenham, who have played two games fewer.
Alongside their league campaign, the Red Devils are still competing in the Champions League, where they will meet Atletico Madrid in the first knockout round, and the FA Cup where they face Championship side Middlesbrough in the fourth round.
Maguire has just returned to the United squad having spent a couple of weeks on the sidelines and he is now focused on bringing success to Old Trafford.
Speaking to the United website, he said: "It's really important that we stay in the competitions for as long as we can and find ourselves challenging for trophies at the end of the season.
"In two months' time we want to be challenging in the league, for the top four positions, and then in both competitions in the cups.
"We are in a position where we are not happy with the league position, but for sure we have lots of things to play for, and lots of momentum to gain, and lots of things to improve on.
"From now until the end of the season we have got to work together as a group, work together as a club and make sure we reach our aims.”
United are currently on an international break and will return to action on Friday, February 4 against Middlesbrough in the FA Cup.
