Tottenham Hotspur travel to Preston North End this weekend as they look to book their place in the fifth round of the FA Cup. However, the Lilywhites could be without now joint club-record goalscorer Harry Kane as England's captain continues to recover from a fever in recent days.
Despite feeling under the weather before Monday night's Premier League win against Fulham, Kane led the line at Craven Cottage and scored the only goal of the game as Spurs took all three points, with the striker admitting afterwards that he had not slept much the night before due to a fever. The goal was a significant one in his Spurs career as he levelled Jimmy Greaves' all-time Tottenham record of 266 goals.
However, Kane hasn't trained much since the game as he looks to return to full fitness ahead of the weekend. With that in mind, football.london has provided you with the latest news regarding the late fitness test below.

Stellini admission
Tottenham's assistant coach Cristian Stellini has admitted that Spurs have a decision to make over Harry Kane's place in the Spurs team vs Preston: "We have only one problem, with Harry, because he played the last game full of illness," he said. "He didn't train during the week, he trained this morning, but he wants to come with us and be available.
"We know very well that Harry wants to play every game, so we are happy that Harry is involved in the game, but the only situation we have to take care is this."

Back in training
Kane was back involved in training on Friday, thus leaving Antonio Conte with a call to make as he gets his plans in place for the trip to Deepdale. The Italian does have new signing Arnaut Danjuma available for selection, though, after the Netherlands international joined on a season-long loan deal from Villarreal on Wednesday.
What Conte said after Fulham win
In his post-match press conference at Craven Cottage, Conte admitted to football.london that Kane played with a fever: "Yeah but today he was amazing. I think he scored a fantastic goal, the execution to control the ball, then to kick it in that way, only a world-class striker can score this type of goal," he said. "About the spirit that I spoke before, I want to underline Harry today played with a fever and he was not so good but he wanted to play because he understood the moment.
"He understood that he is a point of reference for us, for me, for the other players. I think with Hugo, they are the two players who are a point of reference for the dressing room. Today I am really happy because I think he was rewarded with a goal."
