Former Manchester City defender Micah Richards has told Harry Kane he made a mistake signing a long-term contract at Tottenham Hotspur.
The England captain signed a six-year deal in 2018 to extend his stay at Spurs after a fantastic season and the striker has potentially missed out on big moves elsewhere as a result.
Kane, who is yet to win a major trophy as a player, is on course to finish his career as the Premier League's top goalscorer.

Kane was linked with a move to Manchester City in the summer of 2021, but Spurs chairman Daniel Levy stood firm and rejected bids of over £100million - leading to City signing Erling Haaland in June.
“He’s just absolutely sensational," Richards wrote in his Daily Mail column ahead of England's first match in the World Cup against Iran on Monday afternoon.
"Signing such a long-term contract at Tottenham was a mistake because he could have been at Liverpool, Manchester City, Paris Saint-Germain or Bayern Munich winning the trophies his ability deserves.”
