Harry Kane has wrestled a Premier League record away from Manchester United great Wayne Rooney.
A man who needs no introduction at Old Trafford and beyond, Rooney scored 253 goals for United during a hugely successful 13 years with the club between 2004 and 2017. He is currently the manager at cash-strapped Derby in the Championship.
Rooney netted 208 times during his Premier League career - for Everton and United - with 94 of his strikes coming on the road in away matches. That stood as a competition high before Kane surpassed his total.

Back in top form after his early-season struggles, the England captain scored for Tottenham during their game with Brighton on Wednesday night. He followed up an opener from Cristian Romero.
As a result, Kane has 12 goals to his name in the Premier League this season and 95 away strikes overall. It has taken 139 matches to accumulate that tally, while Rooney - who was often deployed in a deeper role than his successor as national team skipper - needed 243 appearances.
Alan Shearer (87 in 219) and Frank Lampard (85 in 305) are the other top goal-scorers in away games.

Speculation over Kane and his Tottenham future remains at fever pitch, meanwhile, after a high-profile transfer to Manchester City fell through last summer. City and near neighbours United have been credited with further interest in the player as attentions turn to the upcoming window.
