Kane’s situation at Spurs has ‘changed’
Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano has claimed that Harry Kane's situation at Tottenham has ‘totally changed’ following the arrival of Antonio Conte.
Speculation surrounding Kane’s future went into overdrive last summer when he was linked with a lucrative move to Premier League champions Manchester City.
However, according to Romano, Kane is reportedly impressed with Spurs’ direction and change in mentality under Conte, and could yet sign a new deal with the club.
“If we think what happened eight months ago with Harry Kane, who was desperate to leave and go to Manchester City this was his desire, his idea, his plan – but something changed,” Romano said on the Here We Go Podcast.

Conte provides injury update
Antonio Conte has explained that three of his players who weren't included in the matchday squad against Brighton will also miss out against Southampton.
Spurs played Graham Potter's side in the FA Cup on Saturday and won 3-1, taking them to the next round of the competition, where they will travel to Middlesbrough.
The busy fixture schedule doesn't stop for the Lilywhites and they will have had just a few days to prepare for their next game, which is a return to the Premier League after the winter break.
Before the break, Tottenham lost their third game of the month to Chelsea but since then have welcomed Rodrigo Bentancur and Dejan Kulusevski to their side, as well as seeing four first team departures.

Romero verdict
Antonio Conte has given his honest verdict on Cristian Romero after his return from injury in Tottenham's FA Cup tie against Brighton on Saturday.
After arriving in N17 during the summer, Romero was a promising signing for Spurs but it wasn't long until he picked up an injury which kept him out for a couple of months.
The Argentine returned to the matchday squad against Brighton and played 77 minutes, before being replaced by Joe Rodon.
Spurs were without Eric Dier in the back line and this will be the same in their next fixture against Southampton, as Conte revealed the 28-year-old is still unavailable.
