Harry Kane next club odds ahead of Ange's big Tottenham call

Harry Kane's future has been the subject of constant speculation for what feels like an eternity.

Two years ago, after the Euros, it reached a fever pitch, with a move to Manchester City seemingly on the cards.

The striker failed to report for training after England duty, and a transfer worth well over £100million to the Etihad looked on the horizon.

It never materialised though, as Daniel Levy refused to let Tottenham's captain go to a Premier League rival.

The following summer, City signed Erling Haaland and well, Pep Guardiola's side have not looked back.

Kane has just one year remaining on his Spurs contract now. He will work under Ange Postecoglou in the weeks ahead of the players and staff returns for pre-season.

The Australian joined on a four-year deal from Celtic earlier this month, and the 57-year-old will surely be desperate for the world-class frontman to stay put in North London.

At this stage, it really does remain to be seen if he'll hang around to feature under Postecoglou next term or whether he will finally be sold.

If he doesn't want to be there, Postecoglou has shown at Celtic that he will waste little time in moving out players who lack commitment.

However, according to William Hill, it would appear that a move to Bayern Munich could be the most plausible destination for the England skipper.

He is now even money to join the German giants. When betting first opened on Kane's next club, Bayern were a whopping 16/1, which highlights the drastic shift in the market.

Real Madrid and Manchester United are at 8/1 and 10/1 respectively, while the remaining options are clear outsiders at this point.

William Hill spokesperson, Lee Phelps, said: “Bundesliga champions Bayern Munich were 16/1 to sign Harry Kane when we first opened the betting on the Tottenham striker’s next club, but the money has flown in, particularly in the last 24 hours, and he’s now just even-money to join the German giants.

“Real Madrid were as short as 5/4 to sign Tottenham’s all-time top goalscorer but have now drifted out to 8/1, and so it appears that if the Englishman does leave Spurs this summer it will be to join Thomas Tuchel’s Bayern.”

Harry Kane – To sign for before 3rd September 2023:

Bayern Munich - EVS

Real Madrid - 8/1

Man Utd - 10/1

PSG - 16/1

Chelsea - 25/1

Newcastle - 40/1

Man City - 66/1

Barcelona - 66/1

Napoli - 80/1
