Harry Kane has once again stated his desire to win trophies amid Manchester United's continued interest in the striker.
Erik ten Hag has earmarked the Tottenham man as his priority target this summer, with the Dutchman keen to add goals and ease the burden on Marcus Rashford. United will be expected to fight for the Premier League next season, with Champions League football still in their hands despite consecutive away defeats.
Any approach for Kane will face inevitable resistance from Tottenham chairman Daniel Levy, who recently suggested a statue of the club's all-time top goalscorer could be on the way amid claims he 'can absolutely win a trophy at Spurs.' But the 29-year-old is seemingly far more concerned with silverware.

“It’s not really my decision," Kane admitted when asked by Sky Sports what he'd make of a statue at Spurs. "I’m really respectful of the club and I’ve been here since I was 11 years old, so almost 19 years now. I have been here a long time and I feel like we have achieved a lot in my career, even though we haven’t got the trophies to show for it.
"A statue is not something that is going to make or break my career. I appreciate the words that the chairman said about me, but ultimately what I can do is on the pitch and I feel like I’m giving my all in every moment, in every game and just trying to help the team as much as possible."
Tottenham spurned their chances of silverware this season with a trio of disappointing results. The north London side were knocked out of the Carabao Cup by Nottingham Forest before exiting the FA Cup at the hands of Sheffield United, and seeing any faint Champions League hopes ended by AC Milan.
