With eight days remaining of the transfer window there could yet be twists and turns at Tottenham Hotspur.
Spurs are looking to get players out of the door in the coming week to ensure Antonio Conte has a squad without any unwanted stars, in particular Sergio Reguilon and Harry Winks who were told that they are not in the Italian's plans this season. There are also younger players in Bryan Gil and Japhet Tanganga who would like to play regular football in the coming season, with Valencia and AC Milan among those hoping to provide it respectively.
If they depart then Conte told football.london that they must be replaced before the transfer window closes which means there could be some late twists in the market as Spurs look to ensure the head coach has two players for every position in the squad.
