Harry Kane and the seven players who could make their final Tottenham appearance vs Leeds United

A number of players could well be pulling on a Tottenham shirt for the final time on Sunday afternoon. Following a season of ups and downs in N17, the campaign draws to a close for the Lilywhites when they visit West Yorkshire to take on Leeds United.

Attention will then swiftly turn to the 2023/24 campaign and Spurs trying to put things right. Needing a new head coach and managing director of football first and foremost, the club then have plenty to do in the summer transfer market when it comes to upgrading their playing squad.

Acting head coach Ryan Mason outlined in his pre-match press conference just how much Tottenham have to do in the transfer window to ensure the squad can compete again next season for Antonio Conte's replacement.

"Of course I think there is work because we have a big squad, a lot of players on loan and decisions to make," he said when asked by football.london. "First of all there is a lot of decisions to make about our current squad. That's probably the priority.

"I think the most important work is probably away from the transfer window right now because you need a manager in place, you need commitment, you need an idea to know where you go. You can't do transfer business without a manager because it might not fit his idea.

"At the moment I believe we need an idea of what we want to do, who we want to be and stick to it. Recruit people for that and ultimately recruit players for that."

So which Tottenham players who could take part in Sunday's game at Leeds United could potentially be playing in their final game for the club? football.london takes a look.

Davinson Sanchez

With first-team opportunities only coming his way when there have been injuries over the course of the season, the time has come for Sanchez to move on from Tottenham for a new challenge elsewhere. The player needs to be playing week in, week out and he shouldn't be short of options if he is to depart.

Clement Lenglet

It remains to be seen what will happen with Lenglet this summer as his Tottenham loan spell comes to an end following the Leeds encounter. While not a player who will transform Tottenham's defence and give them a major upgrade, he would still be a good player to provide cover if he is available at the right price from Barcelona.

Arnaut Danjuma

Danjuma's loan move to the club from Villarreal has just not worked out at all. Criminally underused by Conte and only making his first start for the club last weekend, the Netherlands international is just not going to get the regular football he wants in N17.

Harry Kane

Kane unfortunately has to be added to the list due to his contract status and all the speculation regarding his future. Daniel Levy cannot afford to let Kane go given all the uncertainty at the club at present and all will be hoping that a new contract can be agreed on.

Hopefully there are many more games to come for Kane in a Tottenham shirt.

Dejan Kulusevski

We have to include Kulusevski on this list as his permanent move to Tottenham following his 18-month loan deal from Juventus has not been announced just yet. football.london reported earlier in the month that Spurs expect the Swede to still be a Tottenham player next season despite the reports from Italy over a potential return to his parent club.

Fingers crossed there is not a cruel twist in this deal and he goes on to pen a long-term contract with Spurs.

Ivan Perisic

Signed on a two-year contract from Inter Milan last summer, Perisic has not had the impact many believed he would have in N17 despite registering 12 assists in 44 games. Given his age and with Destiny Udogie incoming this summer, the club and the new head coach could decide to part with the Croat as they start afresh.

Lucas Moura

One player who will definitely be leaving the club is Lucas. Bidding a tearful farewell to Tottenham Hotspur Stadium last weekend, the Brazilian will have his fingers crossed that he can make one more appearance for Spurs.

Japhet Tanganga

Remaining at the club last summer despite plenty of speculation regarding a switch to Italy, Tanganga requires a move ahead of the new season just to get his career back on track. Injuries have proved costly to him in recent seasons but the minutes he wants at Tottenham just aren't going to come his way.

And three who could have already played their last game for the club...

Hugo Lloris

Lloris has not featured for Tottenham since picking up an injury in the 6-1 humiliation at Newcastle United. Needing to find his long-term successor this summer and with the Frenchman set to enter the final 12 months of his deal, both parties could very well choose to go their separate ways.

Eric Dier

Dier will also soon enter the final 12 months of his contract. Unavailable for the Leeds game after undergoing surgery on his groin during the week, Tottenham have a decision to make over the England international.

Ryan Sessegnon

Signed from Fulham four years ago, injury issues have plagued the 23-year-old during his time in north London. Out injured since the beginning of February, it could be the right time to part with the left-sided player as part of Tottenham's much-needed rebuild.
