Netflix have released a minute-long teaser trailer for the series, which features black and white pictures of the couple with sentimental music playing. In the trailer, an interviewer asks the question on everyone's mind: "Why did you want to make this documentary?" to which Harry replies: "No one sees what's happening behind closed doors."
He adds: "I had to do everything I could to protect my family" before Meghan is seen wiping away tears. The trailer ends with Meghan saying: "When the stakes are this high, doesn't it make more sense to hear our story from us?"

Netflix describes the documentary, titled Harry & Meghan, as a "global event". The release dates have now been confirmed, with two volumes of episodes set to be released; volume one will be available on Thursday, December 8 and volume two will be available from Thursday, December 15. The trailer has already received widely mixed reactions, with fans of the couple eager to learn more and critics claiming it's a money-grabbing ploy.
The Royal family have reportedly been told to brace themselves for the fall-out from the documentary, with one source in contact with a Netflix production insider saying: “I genuinely think it’s going to be worse than the royals can imagine. I’m told that it’s going to be utterly explosive and will be very damaging.” reports the Mirror.
