A second trailer for Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's Netflix docuseries has been released, previewing a slew of emotional scenes.
The new promotional clip dropped today shows the couple talking about their lives in royal family and the hierarchy within it.
The first half is confirmed to be released this Thursday (December 8) as the rest is slated for the following week on December 15. The video comes as the Royal Family have been warned to brace themselves for what is to come in the series.
One source in contact with a Netflix production insider said: “I genuinely think it’s going to be worse than the royals can imagine", writes The Mirror.
It comes after the first official teaser released last Thurday showed Meghan appearing to wipe away tears with both hands as they stream down her face as Harry sits with his head leaned back, seemingly in distress.
The couple are then asked by producers: “Why did you want to make this documentary?”
Harry replies: “No one sees what’s happening behind closed doors… I had to do everything I could to protect my family”, while Meghan says, “When the stakes were this high, doesn’t it make more sense to hear our story from us?”
Royal sources now say that that King Charles and Prince William will come together to hold crisis talks to respond to any allegations of racism or ill-treatment of Harry and Meghan in their TV series.
According to The Mirror, senior aides to the monarch and Prince and Princess of Wales plan to watch the three episodes in order to react swiftly to any further damaging accusations against the monarchy.
A senior royal source said: “There is a completely united front from the King and his family concerning the numerous attempts to privately make peace with the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, which sadly have once again resulted in the other side wishing to air their repeated grievances to the world.
“If there is a need to respond to anything in the upcoming series then you can be assured that response will be swift and robust.”
Netflix has rated the show a 15 as it contains "language and discrimination". It has also revealed more information about the documentary, which has been split into six episodes.
A spokesman for Netflix said: "In an unprecedented and in-depth documentary series, The Duke and Duchess of Sussex share the other side of their high-profile love story.
"Across six episodes, the series explores the clandestine days of their early courtship and the challenges that led to them feeling forced to step back from their full-time roles in the institution.
"With commentary from friends and family, most of whom have never spoken publicly before about what they witnessed, and historians who discuss the state of the British Commonwealth today and the royal family’s relationship with the press, the series does more than illuminate one couple’s love story, it paints a picture of our world and how we treat each other.
"From the critically-acclaimed, two-time Academy Award-nominated and Emmy-winning director Liz Garbus, Harry & Meghan is a never-before-seen look at one of the most-discussed couples in history."
