Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are reportedly "on the brink" of revealing whether they will attend King Charles' Coronation.
There is less than a month to go before the historic event at Westminster Abbey and it is still not clear whether the Sussexes will be attending or not.
It is believed they have still not told Buckingham Palace what their plans are despite the deadlines for RSVPs reportedly passing earlier this week.
It is said to have been causing Coronation organisers a headache when it comes to the likes of seating plans within the Abbey as well as transport and security.
However, according to The Times, the Sussexes are set to reveal their intentions "within days", especially now US President Joe Biden has stated his plans.
It was confirmed earlier this week he would not be attending the Coronation but his wife First Lady Jill Biden would be coming.
And a source told the publication: "I hear they are going to confirm their plans soon, particularly now that Biden has."
It comes after a report yesterday suggested that plans are "being finalised" for Harry and Meghan to be there to watch Charles and Queen Camilla crowned.
It is believed their children three-year-old Prince Archie and one-year-old Princess Lilibet have not even been invited, with sources citing that the children are "very young".
But royal insiders claim that Harry and Meghan have been in conversations with the Palace which seem promising, but there is a "time crunch".
"There have been lengthy discussions between the Sussexes and the palace, there is a time crunch on this, of course," a royal insider told Page Six.
"It's such a historical event and it’s hoped that Harry and Meghan will be there."
The ultimate decision still lies in Harry's hands, with the source adding that all families are difficult but "this is no normal" one.
Harry has lots of legitimate concerns about the event, such as his family's safety, their roles on the day and how Archie's birthday will be celebrated.
The source added: "Harry has a lot of questions about how the event will work."
However, if Harry and Meghan do decide to come to the Coronation, there is one part of the big day they won't be involved in - the balcony appearance.
The Mirror has revealed that the King and Queen will celebrate their historic day by appearing on the Buckingham Palace balcony with working royals only.
His Majesty's decision to appear in the historic moment with just his closest and most loyal family members will show his vision of a slimmed-down monarchy, royal sources said.
The roaring finale event on Saturday, May 6, will also include a spectacular flypast over the royal family’s HQ.
Detailed plans seen by The Mirror reveal how the King has chosen to say thanks for the nation alongside a select few royals who have dedicated their lives to public service, while also showing "the heartbeat and future of his family".
The final group of 15 shows there is no place for Harry and Meghan alongside the likes of the Prince and Princess of Wales and their children Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis.
