The Royal Family are "fully expecting" Prince Harry and Meghan Markle to attend King Charles' coronation despite tensions being high.
After the release of Harry's memoir Spare earlier this year, in which he detailed some shocking allegations about his family, it's reported that it's left a strain on some of their relationships.
But a source close to the family has said that despite this, certain Royals are very sure that they'll still travel over from their home in America to attend the royal event in May this year, the Mirror reports.
The source said: "Members of the family have told me that both Harry and Meghan will definitely come. They fully expect that.
"And they should realise that there is only one subject that many members of the Royal Family will be willing to discuss… and that’s the weather."
It's expected that the coronation's invitations will be sent out in due course and if the Sussexes make the list, they'll be able to chose whether or not they want to come.
The day of the coronation, May 6, coincides with the birthday of Harry and Meghan's son Archie, who is due to turn four.
Government officials are reportedly drawing up contingency plans in case Harry decides to attend the ceremony on his own.
A source told the Daily Mail: "From what I know of Harry and Meghan, they will both want to spend some time with their son on his birthday."
Insiders have predicted that the family won't be up for discussing any of the allegations published in Prince Harry's book and would prefer to spend the day celebrating the King instead.
A source told the Mail: "Harry revealed details of private conversations so everyone is on edge. You ask about the Sussexes and everyone immediately changes the subject. They are spitting feathers but not minded to provide any fuel for the fire."
If the couple do attend the Coronation it is understood that they will not form an official part of the ceremony. They will also not be invited to join the rest of the family on the balcony at Buckingham Palace.
There are only 2,000 spaces available for people to attend the coronation, and palace officials are apparently working hard at creating the guest list.
Despite the fallout from Harry's memoir, 'Spare', he reportedly has "no regrets" about the many shocking claims made within its pages.
The Duke was said to be in good form when attending Ellen DeGeneres and Portia de Rossi’s surprise wedding vow renewal ceremony last week.
“Harry said he was really happy about the success of the book and the reaction to it,” one guest at the party said.
“He said he had no regrets about any of the revelations, and he’s relieved to have got his story out into the world."
Spare sold more than 3.2 million copies worldwide in its first week and was crowned the fastest-selling non-fiction book of all time, according to the Guinness Book of World Records.
