Harry and Meghan evicted from Frogmore as Andrew offered the keys, according to royal insider

A royal insider claims Prince Harry and Meghan have been removed from Frogmore Cottage by the King who has offered the grounds to Prince Andrew. King Charles is claimed to have made the decision to remove the Royal couple with no thaw in their relationship. with the Royal Family.

Prince Harry's memoir Spare, released in January this year, shared intimate details of his personal and royal life which included him saying he found out about his late grandmother's, the Queen, death from checking the BBC website.

It was the latest criticism of the royals from the Duke of Sussex who has regularly spoken publicly in the United States about his differences with them since moving abroad in 2020. Prince Harry's late grandmother gifted Frogmore Cottage to the couple following their wedding in 2018, according to the Mirror.

A royal insider has now reported that Harry and Meghan are arranging for the belongings that they still have at Frogmore Cottage to be sent to their home in California after they have been evicted.

The royal insider told The Sun: "This surely spells the end of Harry and Meghan’s time in the UK."

And it is claimed that Prince Andrew, who has been engulfed in scandal and removed from public life, has been offered the Windsor home instead. It appears as though it was his Spare autobiography that was the final straw for Charles who decided then to have the Sussexes removed from the house.

But it is unclear whether Andrew has agreed to move into Frogmore Cottage with reports that he is “resisting”.

“Andrew is resisting the idea of moving into Frogmore Cottage after he was offered it last week. But it shows Harry and Meghan are powerless to stop the eviction," reportedly said the royal insider.

Frogmore was converted into one home in 2019, having previously been five separate properties for staff working on the Windsor Estate. The whole renovation cost the Sovereign Grant £2.4million and the property is thought to have five bedrooms, a kitchen, a sitting room and a nursery first designed for Archie.

Charles' decision to evict the Sussexes also throws into further doubt whether they will be given an invite to his coronation in May.

After Harry revealed intimate details in Spare of his crumbling relationship with his father and brother, leading to retreat from official royal duties, he is claimed to be "demanding" a summit to discuss ongoing issues ahead of any coronation gathering.

But any idea of an apology to Harry does not appear on the cards from Charles or William.

A source, said to be a family friend, told The Mail : "I hear that William has no intention whatsoever of apologising and remains incandescent, especially around the way his wife, the Princess of Wales, has been treated."
