Harry and Meghan christened Lilibet but Royals 'didn't attend'

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's daughter Lilibet has been christened, according to a source.

The source told PEOPLE that Meghan, 41, and Harry, 38, extended an invite to King Charles, Queen Camilla and the Prince and Princess of Wales but they were not in attendance.

The christening is said to have been a "small and intimate" ceremony at their home in Montecito, California, on Friday, March 3.

When contacted by PEOPLE, a spokesperson for the Duke and Duchess of Sussex said: "I can confirm that Princess Lilibet Diana was christened on Friday, March 3 by the Archbishop of Los Angeles, the Rev John Taylor."

Lilibet's grandparents not attending comes amid rifts in the family. On Sunday, March 5, a spokesperson for Harry confirmed he and his wife Meghan have received an invitation to his father King Charles' coronation but will not yet confirm publicly whether they will attend.
