This picture shows the utter devastation caused by a large fire that ripped through an industrial building.
Firefighters were alerted to the blaze that broke out off Ossory Road, East Wall late last night. Thick columns of smoke were seen rising from the area as residents were warned to close all their windows despite it being a warm night.
Six fire units battled the flames overnight including three water tenders, one turntable ladder, one water tanker, one foam and environmental unit, and one district officer. A spokesperson for Dublin Fire Brigade said the emergency service was finishing up at the scene this morning.
It's been a busy week for the fire brigade as they were called to a grass fire at Tolka Valley Park on Wednesday evening. Additionally, the crew also battled a waste fire in Clondalkin recently.
