Alison Hammond roared with laughter after she was surprised with a unique video message from actor Harrison Ford for her 50th birthday.
The This Morning star officially turned the big 5-0 on Wednesday and despite not actually working, she was showered with presents and surprises with the help of TV personality Jeff Brazier, who showed up at her home in Birmingham.
Wishing her an amazing day, he also revealed that he had some special messages from her celebrity friends as well as those she has previously interviewed, including the likes of Ant and Dec, Jason Donovan, Prue Leith and Rylan Clark, plus, her Friday co-host Dermot O’Leary, who said: “It’s been one of the great pleasures of my life meeting you and you being my friend… Just to say I love you and I’m very proud of you. Have a great birthday!”
After it seemed that the surprises had stopped, Ben Shephard from the This Morning studio then revealed they had one more up their sleeve.
"Now look, we've got one more very special message because the whole world globally remembers the interview with Ryan Gosling and Harrison Ford!” he teased.

Playing off of the memory of Hammond sharing drinks with the actors in that famed encounter, Shephard then quipped: "Well, it would appear that Harrison hasn't stopped drinking since, he sent you this!"
A pre-recorded clip of Ford then flashed up in which he stammeringly recalling his and Gosling’s encounter with Hammond.
"Alison, I remember you were here one morning with my friend Ryan - do you remember Ryan had a drink."
Then, with deadpan humour, he added: "They told me you're 50 years old now. Grow up!"
Bursting into laughter, the Great British Bake Off host declared to the camera “Never!”

It’s just as well as there was still one teensy-weensy treat planned as they had arranged a surprise performance from the west end stage production Magic Mike Live in her backgarden.
A clearly thrilled Hammoned said afterwards: “Thank you everyone at This Morning and thank you everyone for your messages, I feel so blessed and so happy to be 50. I have everything I’ve ever dreamed of and I’m so, so blessed and I’m so thankful to This Morning for everything you have done in my life.”
She continued: “You have changed my life and I thank you dearly.”
This Morning airs weekdays from 10am on ITV1, ITVX, STV and STV Player.
