The Harris campaign has announced the launch of a bus tour aimed at advocating for women's reproductive rights, a crucial issue leading up to the November elections. The tour is set to make over 50 stops in key battleground states to underscore the differences between Harris and Donald Trump's positions on reproductive freedom.
Featuring a lineup of elected officials, celebrities, and Republicans supporting the Harris-Walz ticket, the bus tour seeks to emphasize the commitment of Harris and Gov. Tim Walz to restore the protections of Roe v. Wade.
The campaign speakers will highlight the perceived threats posed by Trump and Sen. JD Vance's 'Project 2025' agenda, which aims to implement a nationwide abortion ban, restrict access to birth control, establish a national anti-abortion coordinator, mandate states to report on women's miscarriages and abortions, and potentially limit access to in vitro fertilization (IVF).
As a prominent advocate for reproductive rights within the Biden administration, Harris has taken a leading role in addressing this critical issue, both publicly and behind the scenes. Earlier this year, she initiated the 'reproductive freedoms tour' to focus on mobilizing voters around this key issue in the upcoming elections.
