Vice President Kamala Harris and former President Donald Trump are actively engaging with key battleground states as the election remains highly competitive.
Today, Harris is in Detroit, Michigan, where she is scheduled to meet with Black entrepreneurs at an event alongside Charlamagne tha God. The event, titled 'We the People,' aims to address concerns within the Democratic party regarding incremental gains Republicans are making with Black men. Harris is also working to rebuild the multiracial coalition that contributed to President Joe Biden's victory in 2020.
Meanwhile, Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz is embarking on a series of political stops in Western Pennsylvania before heading to Washington, DC, where he will spend the night.
On the other hand, former President Donald Trump is set to participate in an interview with Bloomberg News and The Economic Club of Chicago in Chicago. Following this, Trump will travel to Cumming, Georgia, to record a Fox News town hall scheduled to air on Wednesday. Ohio Sen. JD Vance will be hosting a town hall in Lafayette Hill, Pennsylvania.
Both Harris and Trump are strategically targeting these key battleground states to rally support and gain momentum as the election race tightens. Their engagements reflect the significance of these states in determining the outcome of the upcoming election.
