'Happy with that': Newcastle supporters react to Tottenham team news as Howe makes one change

Newcastle United fans are pleased to see Sean Longstaff return to the starting eleven for the crunch home clash with top-four rivals Tottenham. The academy graduate made a cameo appearance at Villa Park following illness, but returns in midfield with Anthony Gordon dropping to the bench.

Both sides will be looking to bounce back from defeats, with Newcastle suffering only their fourth Premier League loss of the season at Aston Villa. Tottenham looked to have salvaged a point at home to relegation battlers Bournemouth, only to concede in stoppage time to fall to a 3-2 defeat.

The social media reaction to Newcastle's team news indicates fans are largely pleased with Eddie Howe's latest lineup, although some questioned the unchanged defensive line. Matt Targett again has to settle for a spot on the bench, with a number of supporters pushing for the summer signing to replace Dan Burn.
