A Happy Valley viewer has whet fellow fans' appetites ahead of this Sunday's finale with an 'uncanny' impression of Sarah Lancashire as straight-talking Sergeant Catherine Cawood. A sketch, shared by @DemonaLisa on Twitter, has had fans in stitches as they excitedly wait to find out what happens to 'Robocop' Catherine in the last ever epsiode of the Sally Wainwright-penned BBC One crime drama.
In the penultimate episode our crime-fighting hero was told that her nemesis Tommy Lee Royce had done a flit after escaping from court, with just days to go before her retirement. With the killer at large, and with Catherine in his sights as he plotted revenge, viewers were left on a cliffhanger as he made contact with her grandson Ryan, who is Tommy's son with her late daughter Becky, with a plan to start a new life for the pair in Spain.
Meanwhile @DemonaLisa provided some light relief from the tense wait for the finale with their comical video. They shared the one minute and 26 seconds sketch with the words: "A day in the life of Sarah Lancashire."

A fan impersonates Catherine, the toughest character on telly, as she climbs into her trusty car only to find out that her sister Clare failed to fill it with fuel before being called out to an incident. During her mission she's seen running and performing a dramatic roll across the grass.
Comedy sketch Catherine then returns to her car and says: "Well hopefully I'll be done by teatime, know what I mean?" She sarcastically scolds herself over a faltering start to the car, saying: "Handbreak would be good wouldn't it?" And she fumes over the lowfuel warning noise: "I'm going to kill Clare."
@QueenLancashire shared the video with the words: "I’m howling. This impression is uncanny." @Tr1c1a666 agreed: "Genius…… best thing ever." @patgdwyer observed: "She even runs like her." And @dontlookback222 commented: "That's hysterical."
