Every year, on September 5 teachers' day is celebrated in India. On this day, we all commemorate the birth of the former President of the country Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan. On this occasion, the teaching community of the country is thanked for their immense contribution and are felicitated with several awards and accolades.
What is a life without teachers? It's meaningless, without any sense of discipline, is directionless, and is devoid of self control. A teacher's importance in life is to instill sense in an individual. A teacher is the only one person who can make a child understand the value of discipline and make him or her follow it.
Parents give birth to a child and definitely put in values, but it is the teacher who nurtures and polishes these values and makes sure these embed within the child with such precision that even under exceptional circumstances a child is unable to get rid of it.
Nation was amazed with the valued contribution of the teachers during the COVID pandemic. When classroom teaching was stalled in an effort to stop the spread of the coronavirus, the teachers of the country stood up and shouldered the responsibility to keep the teaching-learning function for the entire country. Not a single day of education was disturbed during this period! From teaching over patchy internet to installing a loudspeaker on the terrace, these teachers did not take a day's rest for their students.
