Happy Mondays and Stone Roses icon Ian Brown are all set to headline a new music event this summer. Live At The Big Top happens on May 26 in a huge tent in Victoria Park in Warrington.
Despite being linchpins of the Madchester scene of the late 80s and early 90s, this will be the first time that Brown and the Mondays have shared the same bill. Organised by the team behind the Neighbourhood Festival, the line-up will be completed by Liverpool legends Cast and newcomers CVC.
Tickets will go on sale this Friday (February 10) at 10am. Live At The Big Top will kick off a weekend of festival action at Victoria Park.

It will precede the Neighbourhood Weekender, which kicks off the following night. The weekender happens on May 27 and 28, and features a host of headline acts.
Housemartins star Paul Heaton and Jacqui Abbott and The Kooks play the Saturday night, alongside The Wombats, Ocean Colour Scene, Sugababes, The Enemy, Reverend and the Makers, Inspiral Carpets and Scouting For Girls.
Then on the Sunday, Pulp headline alongside Self Esteem, Anne-Marie, Confidence Man, Everything Everything and Ella Henderson.
Tickets for the Neighborhood Weekender start at £74 for a day ticket, or £140 for the full weekend pass, and are available now.
