Newcastle United supporters overwhelmingly back Eddie Howe, the owners and the direction the club is heading in as a bright new dawn is ushered in on Tyneside. A high percentage of fans also feel content with the club's transfer business so far this summer and with the existing Magpies squad.
Those are the big messages from our ' Big Newcastle United Forum ' that ChronicleLive conducted last week. We asked thousands of fans to score their happiness from 0-100 across seven key areas of the club from transfers and Eddie Howe, to the owners and current atmosphere inside the stadium and more.
Newcastle supporters raced to express their delight with almost every aspect of their beloved club. Newcastle United editor Aaron Stokes said: "A big thank you to every Newcastle United fan who took part in our Big Forum in the past few weeks. It is great to see such positive results at such an exciting time for the football club and the region as a whole.

"Newcastle fans responded to our survey in their thousands and expressed overwhelming positive feelings about pretty much every area of the football club. Long may this positivity last!
"In terms of the survey answers, fans responded with an overall happiness score of 86/100 , with the club's ownership and level of ambition both earning a score of 88/100 . The two lowest scores received came from questions regarding Newcastle's approach to transfers and the current emotional connection felt towards the current squad at St. James' Park.
However, these two questions still earned healthy scores of 82/100 and 81/100 respectively. Eddie Howe has done a fantastic job since replacing Steve Bruce and when asked how much trust Newcastle fans placed in the Magpies' boss, supporters responded with an average score of 89/100 . Finally, the incredible atmosphere experienced lately inside St. James' Park earned the highest score of the forum, an incredible 93/100 .
We will be revisiting this series of questions periodically throughout the duration of the season asking fans to rescore based on the current status of the club to monitor progress, but a high standard has been set by the inaugural ' Big Newcastle United Forum '.
