Hansi Flick has been sacked as Germany national team coach.

In 2021, Flick controversially left the Bavarians a year after winning the Champions League but he has only lasted just over two years in this role.
Poland and Belgium have also beaten Germany during a five-game winless run, which followed a second consecutive exit in the group stage of the World Cup.
German FA (DFB) president Bernd Neuendorf said: “For me personally, it is one of the most difficult decisions of my time in office so far.
“Because I appreciate Hansi Flick and his assistant coaches as football experts and as people. But sporting success is the top priority for the DFB. So the decision was inevitable.”
Germany legend Rudi Voller has been placed in temporary charge as the search for a successor begins.
The former striker, 63, led his country to the World Cup final in 2002 after taking over from the disastrous reign of Erich Ribbeck. In fact, only Ribbeck holds a worse win-percentage record than Flick in the Germany hotseat.
Under-20s coach Hannes Wolf and ex-Bayern forward Sandro Wagner will assist Voller in Tuesday’s friendly against France.
Germany have not played competitively since the World Cup as they are due to host Euro 2024 next summer.
