Eurovision 2023 presenter Hannah Waddingham made some last-minute changes to the script while on stage.
The Liverpool Echo were in attendance for the dress rehearsals for the second Semi-Final show where we saw the inner workings of the contest. Although it was a run-through of things to expect, some of the team were unsure of their marks.
The interval act welcomed three drag superstars to the stage under the guise of Hannah Waddingham, Alesha Dixon and Julia Sanina. In the lead-up to the performance, Hannah was still unsure of where she's supposed to look and what was to be said to wrap things up.

Her original ending line: "And don't steal my lipstick," was swapped out for: "What's the name of your hairdresser," after she stated she didn't want to say the original line on stage.
The second run-through felt more natural but while it was only a dress rehearsal, important aspects like whether or not the presenter's back should be to the camera were still being flattened out.
